Big Blow To The Chargers! Justin Herbert Is In A Walking Boot

Big Blow To The Chargers! Justin Herbert Is In A Walking Boot: Justin Herbert might not play for a while. The Chargers’ star quarterback wore a walking boot after what looked like a re-aggravation of his ankle sprain. He is now waiting for the results of his X-ray after Sunday’s 20-10 loss to the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.

Herbert was able to start this week against the Steelers, but he only completed 12 of 18 passes, gaining 125 yards and a score.

He didn’t finish the game because backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke took his place. Jim Harbaugh, the head coach of the Chargers, said he knew right away that Herbert was hurt.

“I knew Justin was leaving the game as soon as I saw him get up. Herbert started 13 games for the Chargers last year and threw for 3,134 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 7 picks.

Heinicke and the Chargers are now 2-1 on the season and will host the rival Chiefs at SoFi Stadium next week. Heinicke could now be in charge of that game.
