Bruins coach makes a big statement: With training camp inching nearer, Boston Bruins coach Jim Montgomery has recently spoken about the role of the goalie Jeremy Swayman.

The head coach of the team in question stated that he is not in any way involved in discussions over deals and has no part to play with it.
Swayman later on proceeded to arbitration before agreeing to sign a one-year contract in 2023 with the Bruins. However, after the arbitration meeting the 25-year-old goalie expressed his dissatisfaction with the whole process stating that he does not want to go through the process again.

Even though Swayman is annoyed with arbitration, he made it clear that he doesn’t have any bad feelings toward the Bruins company. At the moment, Swayman is the only limited free agent the Bruins can sign.

On Thursday, Boston Bruins president Cam Neely talked about the current contract talks with goalie Swayman. Because fans are impatient and want an answer as soon as possible, Neely understood that demand.

He played in 44 games for the Bruins last season and had a record of 25-10-8 with a goals-against average of 2.53 and a save percentage of.916. Since Linus Ullmark has joined the Ottawa Senators, Swayman is likely to be their starting goalie for the next season.

Since training camp starts next month, the Bruins will want to make sure Swayman has a new deal before then. The Bruins picked him with the 111th pick in the 2017 NHL draft.
