Dave Navarro Apologizes: Dave Navarro, Jane’s Addiction’s guitarist, said sorry to support bands that were hurt by the tour delay. At the same time, the rock band quietly shared their new song “True Love.” Crew members dragged Navarro offstage after he fought with Perry Farrell and punched him. This ended the band’s reunion performance.
Farrell scrapped the rest of Jane’s Addiction’s shows after saying sorry to Navarro, his bandmates, and their fans. Navarro put out a new Instagram post and a music video for “True Love” on Thursday.
He wrote, “New Jane’s Addiction song out today called ‘True Love’. ” I’m happy with how this song turned out, but I’m sorry you won’t be able to hear it live. Also, I want to say sorry to our team, @crawlersband, and @loveandrocketsofficial. Thank you for taking so many trips with us.
“I’m so sad that things ended this way and so many jobs were lost,” he said. May every heart get better.

Last week, Navarro, Eric Avery, and Stephen Perkins put out a statement saying that Farrell’s “continuing pattern of behavior” was the main reason why the tour had to be canceled.
“Because of persisting behavior patterns and the mental health issues of our singer, we have decided that we have no choice but to end the current US tour,” the statement, which came out late on Monday, September 16, said.
“We have no choice because we care about his and our health and safety.” We wish he could get help.
“We’re very sorry that we can’t meet all of the people who bought tickets.” We can’t come up with a way to make sure the stage is safe and let us act well every night.
“Our hearts hurt.” “Dave, Eric, and Stephen.”
Farrell told The Independent, “This weekend has been very hard, and now that I’ve had time and space to think about it, I’m sorry for what I did at Friday’s show to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, to fans, family, and friends.” I am responsible for how I responded when I reached my breaking point, because I acted in a way that is not acceptable. With his new comment, Navarro seems to rule out getting back together.
