Janet Jackson’s ‘Rep’: The guy who says he used to paint for Janet Jackson says she and her brother Randy fired him because they did not accept it as true with what the fifty-eight-12 months-old stated approximately Vice President Kamala Harris being “now not Black.” The tale got here out over the weekend in The Guardian.
Mo Elmasri told the Daily Beast in an email, “Janet Jackson fired me because she, Randy, and I didn’t agree with what she said at the Guardian meeting that wasn’t balanced.”
He also said, “That’s all I can say.” He said he couldn’t “receive phone calls due to the large number of calls” when asked for more information. He also said, “All support to Kamala Harris.”
On Sunday, there was a surprise turn of events when Jackson’s spokespeople said that an “apology” made on behalf of the singer by “manager” Elmasri was not made by the singer or authorized by her at all.
Jackson made news on Saturday after an interview with The Guardian went viral in which the 58-year-old said Harris is “not Black.”
Jones told The Guardian, “That’s what I heard.” “That she’s Native American. Her dad is white. That’s what I was told. I mean, it’s been a while since I watched the news. I was told that they found out her father was white.
Jackson repeated MAGA talking points that have already been shown to be false. In July, Harris’ Republican opponent for 2024, Donald Trump, asked her about her race.
At the National Association of Black Journalists assembly in Chicago, he stated, “I did not recognize she become Black until some years in the past, whilst she turned Black, and now she desires to be referred to as Black.”
He is the primary VP who is each black and Asian-American. Shriyala Gopalan, her mom, was born in India, and Donald J. Harris, her father, turned into born in Jamaica.
Buzzfeed was the first to report what seemed to be an apology. Jackson’s representatives told Variety that it came from someone who wasn’t authorized to speak for her.
Elmasri said that the apology from Buzzfeed said, “Janet Jackson would like to clarify her recent comments.”
“She knows that what she said about Vice President Kamala Harris’s race was based on false information.” Janet understands that Harris has a dual background as both Black and Indian, and she’s sorry for any confusion this may have caused. She likes how Harris represents variety and knows how important it is to celebrate that in today’s world. Janet is still dedicated to spreading understanding and unity.
Reports from Variety Jackson is really run by her brother Randy. It is said that they are not online because they are sad about the death of their older brother, Tito, last week.
Deadline says that Elmasri’s IMDb page lists her as Jackson’s manager. Celebrity Service, another site in the same field, lists Elmasri as her manager. His state was last checked on September 22, the site says.
Elmasri’s IMDb page describes him as an Egyptian filmmaker who “now works as a creative consultant for many global superstars, including Janet Jackson.”
Representatives also told TMZ that Elmasri has nothing to do with Jackson. Jackson hasn’t said anything about the fuss yet.
Randy Jackson from the Daily Beast was asked to respond, but his requests for clarification were not answered right away.
