• Birthday between the 11th and 20th of the month: (Third Wednesday of the month)
• Birthday between the 21st and 31st of the month: Fourth Wednesday of the month (November 27)

Double Payments in November for Some

And interestingly, if you receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI), you’ll get another check in November because this year, due to the way the checks are written, these things happen.

SSI payments are normally paid by the Social Security Administration on the first of each month. But if that date falls on a Sunday (like Sunday, Dec. 1) or on a holiday, the administration tweaks the schedule to make sure recipients get paid earlier.

In this case, for instance, those receiving SSI will receive their December payment on Friday, November 29.

How to Report a Missing Social Security Payment

If you discover that you didn’t get your electronic payment on the scheduled date, the Social Security Administration says you first want to contact your bank or financial institution. There may be a delay in posting your payment, they suggest.
